What is an AI customer support chatbot?

An AI customer support chatbot uses relevant business information to generate answers to customer questions. KivoHelp uses website content, supported documents, and business FAQs, with recent conversation context. It can help explain routine information, but AI can make mistakes and does not replace human judgment.

Can small businesses use AI for customer support?

Yes. A small business can start with a focused set of recurring questions, clear sources, and a route to a person for exceptions. KivoHelp offers Free knowledge setup and appearance preview; Free AI is disabled. Testing AI answers and website installation require eligible access, and public paid plans are coming soon.

Is KivoHelp suitable for small online stores?

KivoHelp can help explain a store’s published shipping, returns, product care, and other customer-facing information. It does not approve refunds, change orders, reserve stock, or check a private inventory system. Order-specific questions should go to the business through its configured support email or eligible ticket workflow.

How much does KivoHelp cost?

Free workspace setup and appearance preview cost $0. Proposed standard paid plans are $20, $60, and $120 per month in USD. Proposed annual totals are $216, $648, and $1,296, paid upfront for 12 months with monthly usage resets. Paid checkout is unavailable, Free AI is disabled, and existing workspace eligibility remains unchanged.

What does KivoHelp do?

KivoHelp combines an AI assistant that uses your business information with two-way support tickets. It helps answer routine questions and gives customers a way to follow up with your team when they need more help. Ticket support is asynchronous, so a team reply may come later.

What is available now, and are paid plans ready?

You can create a Free workspace to add knowledge within its limits and prepare your assistant’s appearance. Free AI replies are currently disabled. Website installation and ticket creation are not included in Free. The pricing section shows proposed rollout plans. Paid checkout is unavailable, and existing workspace access remains unchanged.

What information can I add?

Connect an authorized public website, upload PDF, DOCX, or TXT documents, or add your own business information and FAQs. Imports have page and size limits. Pages behind a sign-in and image-only documents may need manually added text.

How does the assistant answer questions?

It finds relevant information in your business knowledge and uses it with the customer’s question and recent conversation. It should acknowledge missing information rather than invent a policy. AI can still make mistakes; review test answers and confirm important details.

Can I customize and test it before installation?

You can prepare its name, welcome message, appearance, personality, language, and welcome shortcuts in your workspace. Testing AI replies requires an available model on an eligible workspace; Free AI is currently disabled.

How do I install it on my website?

An eligible active plan provides an installation script for your authorized website. Add it to your site, then visitors can open the assistant from its launcher. Free workspaces do not include website installation, and paid plans are coming soon.

Can website information stay up to date?

Yes. Run a manual sync or enable optional weekly syncing. If a scan fails, KivoHelp keeps the last successful content. Manually editing imported information pauses automatic replacement until you allow syncing again.

What happens when a customer needs your team?

Starter uses your configured business support email. Ticket availability follows current workspace eligibility. The proposed plans include new tickets in Growth, Premium, and eligible Enterprise agreements. Customers choose to submit a support request; an AI conversation alone does not contact your team. Business notification emails depend on the owner’s configuration.

Do ticket visitors need a KivoHelp account?

No. Where ticketing is enabled, visitors submit their name, email, reason, and problem description. They receive a KV ticket number and verify their email to read team responses, track their tickets, and continue replying in the secure support portal.

How does annual billing and AI usage work?

The proposed annual plans are paid in full upfront for 12 months. The crossed-out price is 12 monthly payments; the annual total shown includes the 10% discount. Conversation and AI reply allowances reset monthly. Each conversation can use up to 30 AI replies, within the workspace's remaining shared monthly allowance.

Do invited teammates get separate allowances?

No. Planned teammate counts exclude the workspace owner: Growth would have one owner plus three invited teammates. Everyone shares the same workspace subscription and all its limits. Invitations are planned and are not currently available; Enterprise website and team allowances would be individually negotiated.

Will I be able to cancel renewal?

When paid subscriptions launch, the plan is to let customers cancel future automatic renewal and keep access through the prepaid period, subject to final approved billing terms. Paid checkout remains unavailable. Future billing and refunds are subject to the Terms of Service, approved checkout terms, and applicable law.
